I will dig up the camera and get some more pictures posted. My Deluxe has the oem riggid bags and are secure/ locking type. You need to be inside the saddlebag to detach the bubbas system. No need for additional locks if you just lock up the saddlebags.
That would be great! Both of the other systems I referenced were detatchable from outside of the bag. Now I'm really starting to regret buying the Barebacks...
Hello 07Deluxe, Im wanting information about how you mounted the fender rails both front and rear to your deluxe if they only fit a road king, this is what J&P Cycles told me as well as Harley Davidson here in Austin Tx. I've told them both about your bike having them but they keep telling me you must have a road king. Let me know how you pulled this off so I can at least show Central Texas Harley Davidson. I have a 06 Deluxe.
Bubba's is "way over priced". I decided that it wasn't that big a deal to ratchet the nuts off and remove the bags. doesn't take long at all. If Bubba would lower his price to reflect what you are paying for, I would go with his system in a heart beat.
I have a extra set of the Bubba's screw in type quick release brackets I'll let go of for $65. plus shipping. Their used, I bought them off ebay. Fits with the Harely quick release back rests. First person to send me money thru paypal gets it.
Hey 07 Deluxe, I looked at some last night on Adventure Cycles site the #'s are 91080-93 for the front and 91081-93 for the rear @ $91.95 each including mounting hardware. Are these numbers similiar to what you have? I haven't tried to locate Bubbas' yet.
I'm too lazy to look up the part number in the thousand page Harely catalog, My fender gaurds are made by Harley / made to fit the Heritage bikes, I was told by the dealer they would not fit, I had seen them on another bike and knew better. The price was about the same as what you quoted. Good luck with your scoot.

07, thanks so much for the reply. I've been told the same thing by Central Texas Harley and J&P Cycles that the rails were for Road Kings and Heritages ONLY! I knew that was a lie cause I'd seem them on your scoot. Im going get them tomorrow. Im wondering now if that tail section that has the diamonds thats only for the Fat Boy according to Harley, won't fit the Deluxe! I'd love to buy that as well but had a $ 240.00 Vet bill today for my Yorkie so, the rails will do for now! Thanks again 07, and continue to look good.
