Most boring CVO ever...
I agree with everyone on this one.... The Deluxe is one of the nicest bikes to put money into as they come out sweet. I quoted you Dan because you about summed up my thoughts with boring.

The CVO breakouts paint schemes aren't that great either.

If anyone is considering a CVO Deluxe and feels let down, don't worry. Buy the 2014 CVO Road King! Wow, that bike looks amazing. I saw the 2013 models of the CVO Road King and I was like meh, it's ok. This year it is off the charts. Now that is what I was expecting the Deluxe to do to me. I like all the colors of the Road King this year too... I would take any of them. They have a painted out fat front end. Would look awesome with a matching paint scheme on some bars like some apes and a few other mods.

Well that's my 2 cents on the Deluxe. I agree it is a let down. The paint isn't doing it for me. When you think about it, it almost always comes down to paint and wheels on these CVO's that make or break the bike. Of course the 110 is a welcome upgrade for sure.

Also, I think the CVO Convertible destroys the new CVO Deluxe with ease. The CVO Convertible was one super sweet softail that can dress up or down with the best.

That deluxe is awful. Now the standard one with hard candy voodoo purple flake is damn pretty ( yes I am a girl so I can droll over the sparkly purple bike). But my 2011 vivid black is not going any where over a paint job.

The wheels look like an afterthought, like wheels you would use to frame up a roller, then you decide to chrome or pollish them because you ran out of funds lol.

Dissapointed, how can HD be so far off what their customers want?

Seems to me like every couple of years HD decides to clean out the warehouses and puts out a "new" or "cvo" model that has a lot of parts of the bikes of past. I loved the convertible, but with that said it seems they just took left over parts from it and put it on a deluxe with crap paint and called it good. I was really hoping for something different and "new".

Not worthy of the Deluxe name.

Yea, I was really excited but this was a let down, I see these sitting on showroom floors for long periods of time. Damn, really wanted something different. Those wheels are brutal. Yikes.
