Here is a stripped down version that looks a little better but it is blurry too, lol. But this side is hiding those funky wheels. I just think they blew it on those wheels for this bike and should have went with a 21 inch wheel. I don't know... I am trying hard to think it's ok, but I am having a hard time coming to the conclusion that it is cool bike. Just about every stock deluxe that puts on minimal mods looks great. This bike has a bunch of stuff on it and it just looks ok I guess. It's just not put together and really doesn't look classy like a Deluxe usually does. On this color I do like the brown leather on the bike and the bags with that brown leather is ok... but that's about it.

Sorry guys, but I like the CVO Deluxe in brown/orange.
Of course I would also change a couple of things including the rims which I would replace with the chromed ones the Heritage Specials used to have. But the bike in this pic looks great IMO.
The paint schemes make them look like theme bikes...like for a football team. (Blue; Titans, Red; 49'ers, Orange; The Browns) Blah.
The bags are hideous.
There is too much chrome and not enough at the same time.
What is with the reflector sized taillight.
The wheels...I believe enough has been said about the wheels
Except for the paint and a few doodads, to me it looks very similar to the CVO Softail Convertible that came out a few years ago. Add a new name and restyled bags and BINGO, there ya go.
They should have just called it a CVO softail or something. I think we are tripped up because they called it a deluxe and then made it look NOTHING like a deluxe. Not even the same historic vibe.
Someone will buy it but not likely a deluxe owner. Which I always figured the CVO owners were people who had the basic version first like a basic roadking and then got the CVO (say roadking) to get their bike on steroids so I am not sure who the market is for this bike.
I would pay more for a new deluxe in the hardcandy voodoo purple flake than for this.

The bike is 30 grand! You shouldn't feel you have to change anything especially when the stock version is the best looking stock Harley there is. It doesn't even come with a tank speedo.

They might want people to think it is like the 2012 cvo softail convertible but it is very different. Starting with the rear wheel which is a 200 mm rear wheel and the only 200mm stretched rear fender I've heard of. Than the LED tank speedometer and tachometer, mini ape hangers, cruise control, Harley's only (that I am aware of) detachable fairing with speaker and garmin zumo 660 gps. That's awhole lot more for $600.

I agree... I said it earlier in this thread... it has some resemblence, but just way more on the Convertible. The mini apes and wheels on that bike is nice.
I also agree with you on the 30grand price tag. Sure we need to do some mods on bike to make own and many change out wheels for taste. But who wants to buy a bike for that tag and have to instantly change wheels. That's crazy to me. Part of the price tag for the CVO's is not to change the paint and wheels then you actually come out decent. Doesn't look to be the case on this one. It's kind of like buying a stock bike and saying these rubber grips and pegs need to go. The first thing out of everyone's mouth on this bike is the wheels got to go. No tombstone tail light either. sheesh... this is like a slap in the face to all the Deluxe enthusiasts.
I guess I keep posting on this because I think tricked out Deluxe's are on the top tier of Softails. This was a major let down to me from the CVO dept. I ride a CVO too.

Meh, not like I'll be getting one soon. I like mine better anyway. LoL
