08 crossbones fuel pak and remap

Hi i have an 08 harley crossbones with vance and hines short shots, screamin eagle a/c and a vance and hines fuel pak. I bought the bike like this and not sure if the bike has the the remap. And on fuel pak site for the ecm part tou can choose stock or stage 1 1584 legal.

So should i pick the stock ecm or the stage 1

Also if the bike never got remap should i get it done ? Or is it a waste since i have the fuel pak?

Assume it hasn't been done and go with V&H recommendations.

I agree, assume no and set up per stock ecm. You may be able to check with your local dealer to see if they have any record of a stage 1 flash for your VIN having been done.

Well i had it set for the remap and it popped. Sounded like extra fuel in exhaust pop. So i reset the fuel pak for stock ecm but now it just seems like a it dont have has but power or response now. Is this possible or is it in my head?

Doesn't the fuel pack change the a/f ratios to make it run better. You can go to the vance and hines site and download a map for your fuelpak and bike setup. if you want to really get it right just get a real tuner.
