Brother wants a bigger tire
He's riding a bologna skin right now and I refuse to ride with him until he changes it.
He caved in and wants to go bigger, to a 150.
Can anyone tell me exactly what he needs as far as parts and part number ?
He has no preference in tire brand.
I've read conflicting post, but nothing definitive.
He had a 2001 fatboy.

A 150 will go under there no changes. That's a 160 under a fatboy fender in my sig pic. Had to change out the strut bolts and go to a reverse nut in strut bolts for clearance. been running it 5 years or so with no problems.

The metzler 880 is the widest I've tried. I changed to Dunlop e-3's this time and the same size is a quarter inch less in width.I ran Metzlers for a long time and to me the new dunlop is a better tire all the way around.
