Default battery

If i take my bike off the road and the battery gos flat will my alarm go off ? I am moving the bike to a friends garage as i work away and dont want anything going down . Thanks folks

It'd be better to remove Ur battery from the bike and/or put it on a maintenance charger, that will also remove any chance of alarm issues.

Or buy a trickle charger and keep battery fresh so that you dont have to replace it later on.

Wasnt sure how a battery could go flat? Guess if you got a nail in it

If i disconect the battery will alarm kick in thinking that someone is disarming it ? And no nails soz a Limey saying for a discharged battery

Uh - yes it will! (at least it does on my 09 Road King) I speak from experience! You'll need to check your owners manual but I believe that the correct procedure would be to turn the bike to the on position and then pull the main fuse BEFORE disconnecting the battery.

Thank you i thought even HD would not be that daft to allow anyone to just disconnect the battery thought they must have a back up i will check owner manual when i get home cheers
