Default Heritage Softail Mini Passenger Floorboard Support Kit Problem

I put a pair of mini passenger floorboards on my new Heritage last night. I purchased the support kit to ensure the boards stay in a fixed position and do not rotate / loosen over time. Problem is that the support kit is not compatible with the existing brackets for the lower saddlebag support.
Anyone run into this problem and come up with a work around?
Right now I installed them like I swapped for a regular set of passenger pegs and everything looks fine. I'm thinking of just applying some blue locktite to the mounting bracket bolt to keep the boards from rotating.

Are you sure you have the right stuff? I have a '10 Heritage w/passenger footboards and everything works/lines up just fine.

I had them on my 2011 Heritage and removed them and installed them on my 2013 Heritage. Did not run into any fit issues. Sorry....I have the stardard passenger floorboards not the mini's.

Default Softail Passenger Footboards

Yea, i put the Chrome Softail Passenger Footboard and Mount Kit (Part Number 52715-04A) with the Saddlebag Bracket Relocation kit (Part Number 90238-00) along with the Nastalgic pad inserts...Worked great, simple to put on and looks great...but the problem i have is the boards are too low for my lady. Looking for some kind of reduced reach that's compatible with the new boards. Not trying to hijack your thread but if anyone has ideas, please let me know.

I installed the Mini Footboard Kit (Part #50451-09), not the standard passenger floorboards.
Shown here: http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/mini-footboard-kit.
I'll get some photos tonight.
Thanks for the replies!

Can't answer your question about the support kit but will say that I have the mini's on my '13 and once locked in place they will not/have not/do not turn or come loose. For that to happen you would need to loosen the locking bar with a hex tool, pull the bar and pedal and then turn it. So I don't think the support kit is really needed. My experience anyway.
