Anyone have any experience or seen the driver backrest from Kuryaken? Was checking it out. Doesn't seem too bad. Thinking either getting this or upgrading to a saddleman seat with driver backrest.

wow that is pricey. Mine was off ebay and cost like between 60-80. Which people hear had recommended. I have had mine on for maybe 18 months and love it. There is now a bunch of ones on ebay
Here is the one I have on my deluxe. When we installed it my hubby he took a tool and opened the connection slots a tiny bit with a dremel. But basically it fits under the seat bolts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-up-For-Ha...30651153784%26
Here it is on my bike (ps I added the rhinestones) it makes it possible for me to ride 400-500 miles on a stock seat

I was able to pick it up on a clearance table for $175.
The size is great and it supports my lower back well.
It does seem to push me forward a bit, but on the highway with my legs on the hwy pegs it's not bad.
I like that it can be easily removed in seconds.
I don't know if I'd fork out $290 for it, I believe there are other cheaper options out there that are probably just as good. I've seen a lot of good reviews for a "Grasshopper".

I got a similar one but the mounting point was a little different and I sent it back because when I tried to lean on it it felt like it will bend. How strong is this one and does it feel solid when leaning back on it?

Mike when you get it you might need to take a Dremel or a drill and open the holes a bit. Hubby needed to do that with mine. He said the tooling a slightly off when they created it but by opening the holes a bit then she fit on fine.
I love the thing and it is the perfect amount of support to keep my back from hurting on long rides with a stock seat.
Hope it helps and you like it as much as I do.
