I've got an '07 Fatboy and had the same issues. I do two week cross country rides from 300 to 700 miles a day every summer. I went with the Mustang Super Touring. It was a big improvement, but not a solution. the pain eventually came back. Added the Airhawk and again, improvement but no solution, I found myself switching between the two. The one thing that made the biggest difference was adding the crash bar and highway pegs. I can now shift my weight and can ride all day with minimal pain and no residual pain. The passenger pillion is 14 inches wide so maybe this will help your passenger. Good luck finding something that fits for you.

Big issue for me with the airhawk. I'm a little short in the leg length department and the airhawk puts me a little farther off the ground. Personally, I bought Mustang seats for 2 of my scoots and couldn't be happier. Went with a seat mod from Mean City Cycles for the other and it's OK I guess, but it ain't no Mustang.

To each his own!!! Everyone will have a different fit and preference. I am extremely happy with the Mustang Touring on my RK. I also had one on my Wideglide and happy with that one as well.

Love me some steaks and bourbon.

The Mustang touring seat is a good seat, I have 1000's of miles on one. I thought it is a good seat, until I purchased an Ultimate Seat. Not even close between the two.

Its hard to find the perfect seat for us.. It can be $$$$ going through several..

Only our experiences to offer to help Ya.

I've had 6 road bikes plus two custom seats made looking for comfort.

I can say without a doubt the the stock Heritage seat is the best seat for comfort I've had out of them All for me.
I think one would fit right on Ur bike to try one out.

I've rode a bunch of 10 hr days with out any problems with it. Plus if U liked that seat U might find a take off from some one else's bike pretty cheap..

Food for thought. I have seen here where guys have gone through 2 or 3 seats before they got it right. I opted to just take my stock seat and have it reworked. I had about 1 1/2"'s of stock foam removed and replaced with 1" of the Gelfoam. I was able to watch as the seat was being made to make changes if needed during the process. I also put apes on my bike changing how I sit. My tailbone has not hurt or ached 1 single bit since. Goos luck.

The HD Sundowner seat is pretty comfortable - my wife loves riding 2 up with it - and price isnt bad. It aint what you'd call purty but it does the job. Just another option

Tried many different things before settling on a Mustang Wide Touring seat. Myself and wife couldn't be happier short of having an Ultra. 17.5" for me and 14" for her. Only SLIGHT negative is the nose is more narrow than stock seat so I get a bit more heat from the rear cylinder in stop and go traffic.
