The pictures should be good enough to send a new one out before the return. If they want the old part quicker why cant they just send a label in the mail even if the other parts are at chrome?

Even if you dont send it back they are going to scrap it anyway. They never should have sent that POS out so all cost and risk is on them...you ordered and paid in good faith so at this point the only one getting screwed is the customer.

I would never order anything from a company that does business like this.

We do the same if someone needs a replacement without sending the old back in for inspection. And a word on chrome. It takes as long as it takes. Sometimes stuff is back in a day or two, sometimes a month or two.

The good chrome houses are extremely busy and do not have good tracking of products that you send to them. When I have a customer waiting on a wheel that is "at chrome" that could mean anything. A week a month or maybe longer.

And as to your call back just keep bugging them. I know we get extremely busy and do not always have the time to call people back.
I'm going to have to completely disagree with you on this.

First, the product should have been inspected before being sent out. Apparently ALL of their stock was of poor quality. I could understand even a "good" chrome shop missing a few blemishes on one or two pieces but not the entire lot. Where's the Quality Assurence that would make them a good chrome shop?

Second, no need to wait for the old one to be sent back for inspection before issuing a refund! The pictures BN asked for was proof enough that the product was "not acceptable" (as he stated in his text).

Third, I paid for it in good faith BEFORE receiving the product and trusted that they would (1) Send me the product and (2) Send me a quality piece. With that being said, they should trust me to send the defective piece back! Plus, if I fail to send it back THEN, since they have my cc info, they can charge me.

Fourth, why should I have to "keep bugging them" for customer service? Customer service should be FIRST PRIORITY, not second priority. Basically what I'm saying is, if you can't take care or the business you already have, don't take on more until you can successfully take care of your exsistIng business.

Final thoughts, I've read a lot about JD and his shotgun shock and his customer service. Comments are always stating that his product is outstanding with excellent Quallity Assurance. On occasion, when there has been an issue (nothing is ever 100% perfect 24/7) and every comment I've read about the customer service has been OUTSTANDING!!

So, if JD can do it, so can Paul Yaffe!

The box was not damaged. It was actually packaged very well. What bothers me the most was that it was shipped that way and it was pretty obvious to notice the imperfections.

As far as the pic in the background... Thanks, that's the wife, and yes, I'm very lucky to be with her. Not only does she look hot, she's also a good woman!
