I had some problems the last two weeks with mine not working at times but as it turns out (and as expected) it was my wiring job.. I didn't have one of the wires tucked away properly and each time I lowered the bike it would cause the wire to pinch and I was riding slammed the whole way home...
These shocks really are the goods - thanks JD. The only negative thing I have to say is that while you may spend $1500 on the Shotgun you also need to set aside money for the front suspension as well because you will soon realise how much more you feel the bumps in the front when the rear works so smooth!!!
Thanks guys,
Guess I will give it a try when they come in.
Don't you have to drill and tap something on the tranny? How hard is that to get to?
Thanks,
S.
I've FINALLY got the $$ to order mine! What's the best way to go about getting them? I went to JD's website and the cost came up $1550 and I'm pretty sure I've seen people on here saying they got theirs for a lower price.

Send him a PM or call him. He has posted his number numerous times on the site.
And CONGRATS! I am hoping to have mine on by the weekend.

It depends on the year of your bike. Certain years you don't have to tap and drill. Mine is supposed to be one of those that doesn't need tapping, the correct holes are there. We will see as soon as I get the shock and compressor. LOL
