night train cams
for me its putting on county roads at 35-40 mph.
for other its ***** to the wall at 80 on the Hi-way.
To get help on picking out cams U need to explain a lot more about how U ride and what U want.
Don't just go with what MY buddy has unless U ride exactly like he does.
The 204's are good cams but a little soft in the lower rpm's if ridden two up. A 4* advance gear will help them a little. They do have a really good loopy Idle.
Son had the 204's cams in his 07 Deuce and 09 NT, with the 4*gear.
The 255's are great for Low-MID rpms but fall off around 4200, they are mostly for Bagger's that are loaded up and two onboard.
Still there are a lot of other picks.. jsut need to know How and What U want/expect.
For good low mid performance a cam with 35 or less "intake close" will give U good tq for two up riding in the 1800 -2400 range.
heres a link that compares a lot of cams. up to three at a time.

Cams are not as hard as some think, U just need to know where U want the TQ.
Low-Mid or Mid-High...
On a lighter bike (Softie) ridden solo, Ur dealer will reccommend either the SE 204's or the SE 211's..
The 211's will start making good TQ around 3k rpms' and higher, but are soft in the under 3K rpms without an increase in Compression.
The 204's will start about 2700 rpm's unless U put in a 4* advance gear, then they'll start around 2500 rpms.
If U load up and ride 2 up and don't need/want to keep making TQ above 4500 then the 255 are good cam, though they do have a higher CCC which is harder on the starter without CR's and can ping more than some others if U cant get 93 oct fuel.
