Of all bikes, that is a lame one to lose. They are getting more and more scarce. Hope insurance will give ya full value enough to replace it with another same model if ya like. Otherwise, you could go watercooled!
I know exactly what you're going through. Low-life scum. If they catch them, shoot them outside of the courtroom! If you catch them beforehand, use some of that Taliban torture on them!
they took the garage door opener from the saddle bag and my registration and ripped off my garage too..
Sorry to hear about your experience with the low life scum of society. I do hate a thief The reg & garage door opener in the bike? Almost like inviting them in dont ya think? I guess hindsight is always 20/20, Im sure most of us have done s..t weve regretted, I know I have
It's not something I really thought through - the garage door clicker and registration are on my bike too. In fact they don't even need to steal the bike, just steal the reg and clicker, get to the house, take what's in the garage, and if I haven't locked the door to the house from the garage they can get in the house. Even with 2 big dogs and an intruder alarm they are still in and have a few minutes to rifle through the house.
That's true too for my car outside the house with the clicker on the passenger visor. I'm feeling paranoid but for good reason. I should bring the clicker in from the car, and take it off the bike when parked out of sight.
