Exclamation New Shotgun Shock Owner!!!

I...AM... STOKED!!!!!

I bought a shotgun shock from a forum member and I am having it shipped to JDs shop. I not only want to tour JDs shop but love the idea of JD installing it!

His shop is 240 miles from my house and JD said install is 2 hours so it would be a nice, full day of riding and seeing where those shotguns are made! Tentative install is next Saturday unless something crazy happens and I end up doing it myself.

I will update this thread with pics once I have it installed.

Have I said I am friggin stoked?!?!?!?!?! \m/

******************* UPDATE !!!! *************************

Got the Shotgun Shock installed this afternoon and went for about an hour ride playing with the settings.

All I can say is ... WOW!!!!

The difference in the ride is simply AMAZING! And the bobtail looks SICK slammed.

I am really considering the Ricor Intiminators now because if they do HALF of what the SS did for the rear, I will be pleased.

Its crazy feeling bumps in the front that I don't feel in the rear. It doesn't bother me but for $180, it may be worth upgrading the front.

I could ride this bike all day now... WOW. It was pretty cool to pull up to one of the local HD dealerships and drop the air and see everyone look. lol 3 guys walked over to ask what it was. But even without that, the ride is the most important aspect to the SS, without a doubt!

Here are some quick pics on it slammed:

Best part is that you can compare what your bike feels like with the existing shocks riding there to the shotguns riding back. I wish I could come up with the money to buy a set...

It takes a little time learning how to use it properly but if your there with JD he can get you off to a great start. You're in for a real treat.

JD did our install in a couple of hours. I rode the bike down approx. 25 miles to his shop and after JD installed it rode it home and all I can say is WOW on the ride home.
Took my wife out later for a ride and she was saying the same thing...
You will LOVE that ride home. Find the biggest dips and ruts in the road and the SS will eat them up and spit them out without you knowing it.

HUGE improvement, especially when switching from 1up and 2up. Consider upgrading your forks also. Maybe JD works on forks too and can install Ricor Intimidators or ? I can not say enough about how the bike will be a completely different animal if you do both suspensions.
