I can't believe they have nothing better to do than to pull you over and measure up. What a joke.
Some Small town cops don't have much to do, so they have to look to find something.
While others Dept's are so busy they don't time to mess with the small stuff.

He walks back to his car and is fcking around in the trunk.....at the same time, I hit the switches and raise up ^^ He comes back tells me to sit upright nice and straight and he will take a quick comparison - shoulders / hands on bars. To his amazement my hands were actually slightly lower than my shoulders. He said I guess my slouching really did play tricks on his eyes and told me I was okay to leave and actually apologized for stopping me etc.. enjoy my evening and watch out for deer.

I used to get pulled over in the 70's for having my car jacked up too high so I ran the air-shock filler line up to and under my dash. Pulling off the highway a copper turns his lights on me and pulled me over. As I pulled over, I let all the air out of my shocks. By the time we pulled to a stop - stock height and no ticket! Life is sweet sometimes.

Reminds me of a guy I once knew who, not wanting to get pulled over with an open 'container' in his car, re-routed his windshield washer hose under his dash and filled the reservoir with his favorite 'refreshment'.
