Help - Clutch Spring Seat Install Problem 1996 Evo
Hello everybody,
I am replacing the belt on my 1996 Fat Boy. When I removed the clutch, I removed the locknut and the butterfly shaped release plate with the adjusting screw. Then I removed the inner retaining ring to access the mainshaft nut. I removed the mainshaft nut: to do this I pulled out the seat spring, which I thought it was another retaining ring. I'm putting everything back together now and I am not sure how to put the seat spring back in. How do you put it back in?? Does it have to go all the way to the bottom? I'm stuck, need help...
