Default Need help please............

Good Day All, so I have ran into a problem, i have a primary drain plug that has stripped out on me. What is the best solution to try and remove it? I don't want to retap, i just want it out so I can change the oil and put a new one, any suggestions?? I have a pic but not to familiar on how to post it. All info is appreciated.

if you're draining it anyways, why not just remove the primary case and work at it from the inside? worst it'll cost you is a new primary gasket

I take it that its the flats on the outside and the Hex key on the inside of the plug head that's rounded (stripped), because if it was the threads, there's no way you're going to be installing a new plug without fixing the thread.

If it's a rounded hex head, you can try one of these:

Or try an easy-out on the internal Allen key hole.

If the plug is still tight and sealing, and you have enough clearance with the Derby cover removed hand pump the oil out with one of these:

You may have to drill it out. You say it is stripped, do you think its the bolt or the case that is stripped?

Bolts are steel, case is alum.. if stripped its prob the case... not the bolt..
