Very true. I use to think the same way, however after I passed 60 yrs old I decided it would be kind of decent to have something left to pass on to my kids when I depart to the Sturgis in the sky.

Besides, what's wrong with buying a perfectly (like new) good used HD swing arm bag for $55 versus $179 at the dealer? JMO

Just recently up-graded from a 04 Sportster to an 07 Fatboy. Considering adding the swing arm bag but with most of my riding being two up, I'm concerned that the bag will interfere with the passengers foot placement. What's your experience?

You can buy peg extensions so they go out beyond the bag.

I especially like that square Bad and G bag. It looks great. Anyone ever come up with a quick release system for a swing arm bag? Then I could carry it into the office as a briefcase.

Sounds like I'll need to investigate and report back when the new bike arrives in a few months.

You might be able to use the quick release pins and hardware from the hard bag bagger bikes. Just an idea on the quick release swing arm bag
