Swingarm bags are really useful and look great on Softails. Glad you are excited about it.
That said, I have to admit, when I first looked at the picture I noticed your bag had lost its structural integrity. You also want to make sure when the bag is loaded, it is no lower than your primary or floorboards (if you have them.)
I actually suggest a new bag. Leatherworks, and Bad and G Customs are just a few makers who build great ones and will customize for you. You can get a really nice one for like 135 bones.
Here's a few I've had on my bike. Right now, I'm running the one in the first pic. It's just really practical to have it square, I find. The other looks a little cooler and I still have it cuz I think I may go back to it one day.

I like the swing arm bags. Floppy, Viagra, Square... their all good. I just don't see many around my part of town for some reason. I went with the Hog Deluxe and the home made bracket.
