OP, raise the bag, get the bottom as high as the bottom of the primary or you'll be picking your stuff up off the street.
I actually like the way the bag sags, looks old school.
I've got 2 bags, the first one was a Leather Works, great bag thick leather. Scuffed the threads off the lower left corner.
Bought another bag, a Garage Leather, nice bag not as thick or hold as much and the buckle rattles, but untill I get the old one resown it'll do.

I've owned three. A La Rosa, Leatherworks, and Garage Leather.
The La Rosa is the thinnest and looks very cheap compared to the other two.
I've been too lazy to make a new diamond plate to mount the Garage Leathers bag.
I got an axle Roto-Plate mount to replace my swingarm mount and decided to buy a Garage Leathers bag to compare since I need to make a new mount anyway.
The Garage Leather is thicker leather than the Leatherworks and cost more, but I'd give it the edge quality wise over the Leatherworks. Either is a great solo bag though.
I added a lock to the Leatherwork and will add one to the Garage Leather so a thief can't just open and steal what I'm carrying.
I have the 3" Leatherworks on mine and no problem at all with clearance.
Mine does sit slightly higher with my hard mount vs. using only the supplied leather mounting straps.
