And, yes, they are 1/4" x 20 threads.

Actually now I don't know where I might have gotten 1/4" X 20 ?

The replacements from motherwell state that they're 1/4" National Course thread

What's "National Course thread" mean?

They are 1/4" 20 for sure.

Went with these once I found them. Looks much better than the stock nuts.
I'll take a photo sometime tomorrow.

Went with the acorn nut for now. Maybe for good unless I change my mind.

The nice thing about the Mustang are that you can put the pillion on with them but its only convenient if you don't have a bib on I guess.

Cant go wrong with anything chrome IMO, acorn nuts look good too.
