what he said. Check the dyno sticky at the top of the page. Likely there is a dyno sheet matching your build. After that, forget numbers--that's for sitting at the bar when you are feeling inadequate or if you are a serious racing guy. That build will make you smile, which is far more important than numbers.
yeah I looked through several pages and found some close...seems the opion on the duals is that I will lose some power vs a different set of pipes.
I wanted some good power for occasional 2 up long trips and alittle fun when my bros 103" started acting all high and mighty...lol. I know it wont keep up with them head to head...but it has to be better than stock.

if they are running stock 103s, I wouldn't be so sure about not keeping up them.

If Bros 103 is stock or stg1 only then when U do a 95 kit with cams I wouldn't be surprised if U pull ahead of him doing a head to head.
Last month on a trip that 4 friends and I went on a trip, two of them had new Ultras 103's. One did stg1 only and the other did stg1 and cams SE255's.
Just to see how the new 103's compare to my 96'' with 26h's I did a head to head with the one that had the stg1 only done.
We started once in 3rd, and once in 4th. both times we ran 40mph and ran to 75mph, Results, we stayed side by side. I would start a slow move away in lover RPMs and at seventy he'd be even up with me. We also did a 5th gear pull from 50 -75mph
again I pulled out about 1/2bike and at 75 we were again side by side and I weight 100# more that he does.
A camed stg1 88" will stay right with me head to head now and that's why I think a 95 bb kit with decent cams tuned right will/should pull away from my bike and the new 103's without cams.

I'll even say you can probably do fine running with a 103 w/255 cams bike. I have one and I wouldn't bet on it against a good running 95.
I have a 06 Heritage classic bored out to a 95'' with the hydraulic cam upgrade dyna tec twin cam ignition module K&N high flow air cleaner CNC ported heads Vance & Hines 2 into 1 pro pipe mine is carbureted and my friend has a CVO Ultra Classic with the 110 stock he can't keep up not even close I can leave him standing
I eat stock and stage 1, 103's all day, no problem. Mine WAS a stock 88. Also, I had seen where you wrote "all you can afford" right now. If there is ANY way possible to get your heads done while thery are off I would strongly suggest/recommend it. Around here it's another 300.00 bills to have them flowed, ported and polished. Valves, valve job and springs, maybe 500.00 tops, IF it needs to be done. The gain in performance, running cooler and effiency goes up exponentially. I think it would be a shame to have them off and to not address them but I know how it is with money at times too, Food for thought.
