I'm going to make a set of fangs to use on my deluxe to prolong my riding season as much as possible. Would rather not drop $100 on something I'll only use for a few weeks. Also going to make them out of polycarbonate so they don't stand out as much. Was hoping someone could take some measurements of their softail fangs so I have a starting point. Looking for overall length and width at widest point. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll post pics when I'm through.
I am not warren,
But I'd guess its Lexan, cause it looks like he put a bend in to keep them from flexing. Thickness, they look thinner than the shield, so I'd guess again it 1/8'' or no more than 3/16''
Brackets. I have no Idea where or what he used..
These also look shorter than the Hd fangs.
