I have a leaky fork seal and have been wondering if using progressive monotube cartridges eliminates the problem.
I know the seals need changing and thought if im going to go with monotubes now would be the time to install them when doing the seals.
Any info or advice appreciated.

When installing monotubes you add a few ounces of fork oil to keep the sliding parts lubed. This oil could leak out of a bad fork seal.

 

The only thing that fixes a leaky fork seal is a new seal. The monotubes will fix a number of things, but not fork oil leaks.

 

To answer your question: No. you will need to replace the seals.
The Mono-tube suspension system will help eliminate fork dive during breaking and absorb the rough roads better, you hands won't go numb as fast.
