I have a Sundowner that I put on my Deuce when my wife rides with me. Thank goodness it can be changed in less than a minute because I won't have the thing on the bike when its just me riding. Not only is it bulbous and ugly but its also about 2" taller than my normal seat (low profile "menance" seat) which does't go well with my 30" inseam. That said my wife loves it. At the back endthe Sundowneris wide, shaped, and well padded. That also happens to describe my wife's butt so its a match made in heaven. Like I said, I don't like it; but when she's on there its on there. In its defense I would have to say that if I were over 6" tall and of something approaching normal porportionsit would be a fine fit andoffer theadded advantage of goodlower back support. It would also be morecomfortable for a person who was heavy - or maybe I should say wide.
I had a sundowner seat on mine for a little while, It is comfortable for both driver and passenger, but it looks out of place on the Deuce.
I bought a Mustang Vintage solo and passenger pad, it has the same basic fit as the Sundowner, and the passenger pad is just as comfortable, plus you can take the passenger pad off and give the bike a whole new look with just the solo seat on it!
best of both worlds![8D]
