Default breakout mirrors

I got my b/o a couple months ago. The stock mirrors suck. All I can see is my arms (I'm 6'3"). Any one used the "mirror extenders" from Harley?

Default mirrors

I just bought the same looking mirror with the longer stem (about an inch) from Harley. Only $39 each. They have it black too. Looks better than the extenders to me.

I had the Tribal Mirrors on mine and they were much better than the stock mirrors. They are longer and narrower, so they go further out on the bars and allow you to see around your shoulders better. They come in chrome and black.

I put the extenders on because my hands were hitting the mirrors when I wore gloves. But I removed them.

Not too many options here that you can do and still make the bike look slick. Some members have inserted riser spacers between the riser and triple tree, mostly for back and neck comfort issues I think, and I'm not sure if its resolved the mirror thing for them, you might want to search the forum for this. Otherwise, mini-apes or bigger resolves the problem completely

I have 1.75" risers on my BO and they help a little with the mirrors but not as much that's needed... but you are dead on with the increased comfort level for riding with added risers.

I used the mirror extenders for a few months. They work great but I couldn't get past the look (too tall). Now using Kuryakyn black Scythes and they work great and look a whole lot better than stock. (much wider to see around arms). I sent my risers (1.5") out to be chromed back in... August and I think the guy plans to just keep them. I bought a second set of risers but now have to find someone I can trust to chrome them.
