I got the slotted stem custom profile mirrors from Harley. That's what they have on the CVO and I really like the look. Mine is pretty close to this picture minus the turbine wheels.

I am 6'4'' and noticed the same problem already during my first test ride. That's why I ordered the CVO mirros as they are supposed to be wider and longer in shape.

I have the edge cut mirrors made by harley. I think it halps a bit. If I drop my elbows an inch or two I can see just fine.
