It will bolt right on as long as you buy all 5 parts. There is no fitment issue. The Blackline and Breakout use the exact same gas tank.

I really like the CVO Breakout console. I assume it will fit on my Blackline? (I would powder coat it black.) What five parts are you referring to for proper installation?

Thanks,

Brad

The actual console, the little Harley emblem cover, 2 rubber strips that go down the sides, and the plate on the fuel tank that it bolts to.
I recall someone buying all the parts to put the CVO Console on a standard Breakout, and it was something crazy like $700.

$700 is a lot, but I still won't rule it out. I'm going to go look at a Breakout CVO on my dealer's floor. I want to see that vent-hose setup in person.

Thanks for the info.

If you do go that route you could probably find a Breakout guy to buy your stock parts.

Alright, I think I'm doing this project (CVO Breakout console on Blackline). I looked at the CVO at the dealer and I like the way it looks. It appears the right braided line is the tank vent, and the left braided line carries some wrapped wires. I will probably powder coat the console itself but leave the elbows chrome.

I will sell my parts once I make sure everything is good. My biggest question is whether my Blackline speedometer assembly will clear the CVO Breakout console. I took some measurements and it's going to be close.

I lifted the parts list for the CVO Breakout console from another thread:

Console Tank Trim #70900271
Console screws (X2) #10200200
Console Gasket #70900272
Top Plate Assembly #61000053
Deco Line assembly (X2) #70900325
Deco Line elbow (X2) #26500006
Vent Line, right side (actual tank vent) #61100001
Vent Line, left side (dummy vent) #61100029
Vent Line, right side (actual tank vent) #61100001
Vent Line, left side (dummy vent) #61100029

The discussion in that thread said the parts were $700, but then someone chimed in that Surdyke HD had all the parts for closer to $500. I'll see what I can find. I'll post something when I get it going. Busy at work so it may be a few weeks.

The funny thing is I am doing a similar yet opposite swap. I will be running the CVO Breakout risers/speedo mount with the Blackline tank console. This will also be a very close fit. Good luck with your swap, hopefully I will be able to report back on mine within a few weeks.

One bolt at the base of it just above the seat, and another nut up under the Harley emblem.

Looking forward to seeing your setup.
