I've never slammed the product. No pun intended. haha.
I have always called it novel and have always applauded the great customer service. And I was always sincerely interested in one. Frankly, attitudes like yours -- that it's above all honest criticism -- are undoing any interest I have in the product, ghoti.
I just don't see it as the end all, be all, given what I've read here. Sorry, perhaps I expect more than I should in terms of the reliability of the product.
One thing about lowering bolts, in addition to the vast savings: They never fail you.

Well, that settles it! JD, send me a Shotgun system (for free ) and I'll install it and then report back here with an unbiased report. Hell, I'll even wear a cheerleader outfit!
(Yeah, ok, I'm a *****!)

Quite frankly, I could care less that you are blaming me for you losing interest in the shotgun. That's childish and silly. You need to read more of my post about it obviously.
If the hundreds of good reviews isn't enough for you, then nothing will convince you and its not my job to do so. I tell people my opinion, that's what the forum is for. You have never ridden on it so your opinion means squat overall but that doesn't keep you for using sweeping generalizations like "constant problems" and "reliability issues". You said so yourself there have been a half dozen or so. How in the hell does that qualify as "constant problems" or "reliability issues"? LOL
Just buy it, you know you want to. And you can be a cheerleader too.

"Consistent" and "constant" are two different words.
And please stop trying to sell me the thing. You're doing more harm to sales than good, trust me.
The two of you need to get over it already. Socal, no one cares if you buy a shotgun shock just move on already. ghoti we get it, you love yours, please do the same. It is one thing for people to sing praises about the product and the man behind it, but it is going a little far this time. I think everyone has expressed their feelings, now lets just let it die before you both try to prove that you can be just as childish as the other.

Of course you can us lowering bolts and drop the stock front end too. It just gets you no where near or close to what an air ride system can give you as well as the Progressive gas tubes. Are you solo or 2 up most or all of the time? If I had it to do all over again? I wouldn't touch it until I could afford the SS. It's one SWEET mod and you will NEVER be sorry you did it. Of course we all also know what it's like having a slightly shy wallet too.
