sup guys, just had my buddies install my new wheels on my 13 deluxe, but now the abs lights stays flashing… any suggestions on what it could be.. is it possible that i got the wrong bearings? should i just take it to harley and have them check it out? thanx!
The wheel could be put on backwards putting the ABS bearing on the wrong side, or the abs sensor could be dirty or both. Or you could have a wheel that does not avhe an ABS bearing in it.
before i installed the new wheels i had them powder coat it, and had the bearings pressed out, then pressed back in…do you guys think that could be the problem? can you press out bearings and get it repressed? or do i need to put in new bearings?
Probably just needs to go to Harley to get them to turn the ABS light off. If the bike is turned on while the ABS is being bled the ABS light wills tay on. Did mine yesterday and no light as I did not turn the bike on during brake bleeding.
