I've got a front end wobble, can someone tell me what could be causing this?

Oh, wait a minute this subject may have been discussed before.
Perhaps I should "search" this forum.

I've got a front end wobble and still have one, even after searching the forum and carrying out all the suggestions! Search doesn't always work!

Forum search tools tend to suck.
Just use Google, enter your search terms and add "hdforums" to the search string.
eg; Softail front end wobble hdforums
Far better.

I think the overall message is do some work on your own first and at least google something and use the search function on the forum. When you still can't find the info you need then by all means start a new thread. Just starting a thread without doing any homework and expecting others to spoon feed you your homework is when it starts to get irritating, especially when it's a topic that gets reposted every few days. It's not rocket science, and will make the forum more useful/informative/enjoyable for everyone. And if you can't take a few suggestions or ribbing for being lazy then the internet is not the place for you.

Yea, what that guy above said.

It's not a problem asking a question or posting a comment on this forum without doing a search first. Just don't criticize those who respond that doing a search might render an answer quicker.

Perhaps it's time to put this one to bed.

My only concern is that they added something to worry about it over the winter, when I got them (used from a member) the compressor did not crank, J.D was willing to help, but if you are in Canada and your Mechanic is doing the work, it is not fun, a desperate open/tab on the compressor got it working, will it freeze over winter again ? will not ?.. what will happen if something go wrong (and given the wonderful JD support he gives to everybody here you can gather things do happen).

Other than those concerns which is why I keep my old 422's , it is worth the money I paid, but if I get 'down time' in the short Canadian summer, I do reserve the right to change my mind.

Yeah but, that's kind of a two-way street too.
If people are gonna get their panties in a knot just because a new guy asked a question that's been asked before, well...

Besides, I'd venture to bet that 90% of the threads started here have been talked about in one form or another before...
