Just have to RANT!!
I need to blow off some steam. My wife doesn't understand the frustration but I'm sure some of you will. Today I changed my fork tins from the stock aluminum to chrome, not a huge problem but some work. After figuring out that the MoCo has no intentions of making this an easy project (taking apart the headlight wiring etc) I got it done (Can't even adjust the headlight with the rear tins on WAY TO GO MoCo!!. End result...looks great. So I decide to adjust the passing lamps which came from the dealer/factory with one pointed at the front fender and the other aimed at the tree tops, what was I thinking??? First I have to REMOVE the turn signals (Are these people crazy) Can't swivel the light on that disgusting galvinized steel eye sore without taking off the turn signal first. OK I decide to continue..750 1/8th turns with an allen wrench later (yeah those high paid MoCo engineers figured out how to attach those turn signals in the most inexplicably absurd way). Only thing worse than doing this myself would have been paying my local harley dealer $75 an hour to %^$# with those stupid allen bolts. Ok, now the turn signals are hanging off the light bar, just got to loosen the nut and....WAIT, the wire runs through the hollow bolt up to the passing lamp, have to disconnectthat wire first. BUT IT GETS BETTER!!!Remove the trim ring and light to get at the wire and guess what THE CONNECTER WON'T FIT DOWN THROUGH THE HOLLW BOLT!! You have to cut the wire to get it out of the bolt to loosen the nut to adjust the light. Are these designers INSANE? Unbelievable. 750 1/8th turns of 2 allen bolts later and the whole mess is back together. WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING.
Thanks for listening, I feel better now.

if you are like me, the easy way would be to have somebody else do it. Everybody needs to vent at one time or another, glad to hear that you stuck with it and got everything back together.
