Lady deluxe I think your missing the point here. The Cvo deluxe does not look like a deluxe it could have been a new bike in the lineup. Most Cvo bikes resemble the original but have a few extras bigger motor special paint but still look like the original model at the core. If I did not hear about the Cvo deluxe and had not seen it in print I would be wondering what model it was if I ran into it in my travels. Most riders who bought a deluxe like the nostalgic look we were robbed on this one. I always said I would never sell my bike the only thing that would even give me the smallest thought on getting a new bike would be a Cvo deluxe but there is no way I would make a move for the Cvo deluxe they out out. They really missed the mark on this bike. It will sell but most will not be bought by previous deluxe owners. I am not bashing you it's a sweet bike but to offer us deluxe fans who have been wondering what a Cvo deluxe would look like if produced we we're let down. When I seen the brochure for the deluxe in 2004 I looked at it my radar was set and I was going to have one the Cvo deluxe was the only flicker of me ever buying a new bike if it was what I had in mind and I seen it the radar would have locked one and I would have on. They robbed us deluxe fans

I like it a lot, pictures just don't do the scooter justice. The wheels and wide whites remind me of gasser wheels from the '60's. Only change I would like to see is a tombstone taillight.

No I think I get it. All's good with me, I understand there are many that love the nostalgic look of the Deluxe and had hoped it would be carried over to the CVO. For me I like the looks of the cvo bike and really don't care what they call it. I had a Electra Glide Ultra Limited turned 61 this year and was getting tired of the heavy bike. It was like HD had looked at my bike wish list and built this bike for me, all but my heated grips. Sorry for your disappointment but for me I'm all smiles.

I got to climb all over both colors at the 110th and as much as I like the Deluxe, as others have said, they screwed the pooch (IMHO) by taking away from the classic old school look. Not sure where the CVO line is going with their "Rainbow Brite" paint schemes! Ugh...ly!

Vomit Comet...

Nothing says nostalgia like a 9 spoke wagon wheel with whitewalls

It is a sharp looking bike but it could have been introduced as a brand new bike in the lineup that's how much of a change it has. I was waiting for the day a cvo deluxe was made and felt strongly i would be tempted to sell my deluxe and get one but its not going to happen. by the way Lady Good Luck with the new Deluxe

Default I'm with Lady Deluxe

Sorry Guys - but each to his own! Just one sit on the CVO and I was sold. I traded my 2012 Deluxe for the CVO. I had put a lot into the old bike and loved it but the CVO just fit me like it was made for me and it rides like a dream. I agree the paint job will not be everyone's cup of tea but it has grown on me and the wheels are so much easier to keep looking good.

Brit I agree to each his own and I did say it was a sweet bike but you are missing the point of what I am saying. The Cvo deluxe is a nice ride but I believe if we took a poll the majority of the deluxe owners w ere expecting a bike that still had the nostalgic look. There is nothing wrong with the Cvo deluxe except the name it does not resemble the original deluxe at all and us owners who bought the bike for what it looked like originally are very disappointed that we did not get a bike that most of us deluxe owners were expecting. The CVO deluxe is more like the convertable they had or another bike but does not have the flavor of the deluxe that has been in the harley line up for 9 years now and if the Cvo deluxe became the new deluxe style the number of sales would drop considerably. The. Deluxe as it was originally designed is one of Harley's top earners it a appeals to the biggest generation the baby boomers are all older now and grew Up with the look that alone is good for sales and it also appeals to the younger generation it was a win win for Harley should harley drop the Original design for the Cvo deluxe look the deluxe would never make the numbers that the original did. So the point is its a let down to most deluxe lovers it's not bashing the Bike but we we're let down

Looking at the CVO Deluxe and the way the MoCo went with it, the Slim is more nostalgic. I think, for most of us, had the MoCo made the CVO look like it came straight out of the 50's, we'd all be clamoring to get one. A bigger motor and a lot of crome hoo-haa don't give it any soul!
