I already bought and installed the headwinds and I LOVE it. No mods, no fuss just replaces the original ring. I wanted vertical grill and Arlen was nice but horizontal

Slimshady, I think I may like the Headwinds you chose better than the Ness I have. Does the Headwinds replace the outer headlight housing ring? Oh, just for some info on the Ness Grill, it can be mounted horizontal, or vertical. Could you take some close up pics of your grill from front and side please. Thanks!
Yes it does replace it. I threw my back out yesterday, just before I was about to go riding (Grrr!!) so can't really walk around at the moment. I will take pics as soon as I can.
You have to get the 3 springs that go to a bagger headlight bezel - two bottom springs and a top spring. They need to go in upside down from where they do on a bagger, though- the bottom springs will be about 120 degrees apart so they fit behind the plastic tabs on your headlight bucket, and the top spring will go on the bottom of the PM grille. The piece mounts up nicely, but you have to use a zip tie or some such to secure it on there, because the screw hole in this one doesn't match up with the tab on the bucket.
I have it on my Slim... but thinking about taking it off, so may entertain the thought of selling it and the springs... still kind of on the fence about it.
i really would like to see a picture about this install. This grille looks really sharp
