Question Fuel Tank question...

I have an 06 Fatboy F/Inj. Will someone know definetely if I can swap out the internals and flush mount cap and gauge from one tank to another? Both tanks are of the same model and part number. If so, how difficult a task is this to do? Is there any gaskets to replace or hardware? Sorry for all the questions. Just want to be sure. Thanks in advance for any replies...

It can be done but you will need the gasket and screws that connect the top panel to the tank. I used the drag specialities screws instead because they are about half the cost of the HD screws

If you are careful taking the first one apart you can reuse the gasket and screws. I have had my brothers swapped to a new tank and of again to check filter sock and still using the original no leaks.
