Unhappy Another Fuel Tank question...

Happy New Year forum. Actually a couple questions. Can someone please tell me if there is any difference between an 05 and 06 F/I Softail fuel tanks? I am hoping not. Just bought one for my 06 Fatboy F/I. The description said it would fit a 00 to an 06 F/I. I've been looking online and some say it won't fit. Only up to an 05 F/I. The new tank is still in box and the stock tank is still on the bike. Lokking on the outside of the two, looks no different to me. I am hoping for no problem. Another question. If I can use this tank, is it difficult to swap over the internals and flush mount gauge and gas cap? Will I be able to use the 10 small screws that are on top of tank? Thanks for any help, advice or any tips on this and sorry for the long thread...

The only difference may be a clip on the inside of the tank that holds the fuel pump.
Everything else should fit.
Replace the screws and gasket.

I found out today that this is the only difference. The 05 has no clip and the 06 does. Would anyone know if this is a major problem? Is there any other way to hold the fuel pump in the tank? They should mention these clips for fuel pumps when selling tanks. Thank You for any help on this...
