Hi my 01 Fatboy is half way through its rebuild after hurricane sandy put it under 4 feet of ocean. Ive reached the point were I have to start thinking about my electronics. My OEM harness doesn't look that "bad" but.... I don't wanna trust it. Sooo ... since its all being replaced I have some choices.
I have 3 things to decide Ignition module, year of harness & coil output (dual / single fire)
I can stay with the 01 gear or upgrade the harness a few years to be able to use the better ignition systems
What do you guys think? Am I just opening a big can of endless headaches with this one?
Build so far:
S&S G, 95in HiComp, HiLift cams, Worked heads ect
Elecs. oil switch, crank sensor, map sensor, voltage regulator. Rest to be determined upon harness decision.
