Those with a tank lift.........
I have the 2" lift with the deluxe option also but I did not like the way it looked when I raised the tank (it looked like yours) so I havent installed it yet. Until I can figure out something to fill the gap, or see if someone else comes up woth something.
Would love to see some shots from the side of the full bike with the lift, I net ot looks sweet!

Have you put some miles on it yet with the TTI's installed?
The rubber gasket serves no practical purpose.
It can be disconnected/cut where it wraps around the frame and moved up.
In it's stock position there are three points that keep it in place (plus the snug/press fit).
Two holes that the stock tank bolt goes thru.
A strap that goes underneath the frame that has a pinch pin to disconnect the strap.
Here are a couple of pictures of the rubber piece removed.

Unless you stick your nose between the handlebars and tank, you can't see if it is there or not. No other model of HD's have them to begin with.
However, as you can see, if you cut the strap, you can simply move the entire gasket up if you wish to keep it in there. Because it is a tight fit (making it hard to move) once you have it where you want with the tank lift, it will stay in place.

I tried BOTH versions of the TTI's today, but I only put kilometers on them, not miles
......I took video and everything......my internet blows here though so I wont be able to upload until later (getting new fibre internet in a week or so I hope)....On the Hooker there is no way you are getting the TTIs in with the baffle, so I yanked it out.....first one I installed was the wavy one (W258 I think)......it sounded good....didnt take it for a spin....just a quick idle.....then I installed the flat one.....took it for a spin....definitely a little quieter, and my butt dyno may have felt a bit more torque.....came home and was going to swap out again, but let my exhaust cool.....and thats when I realised that the flat TTI was in there for good..lol....good thing it was my favorite sounding one.....I am sure if I heat my exhaust up I can get it out again...I really want to go for a spin with the wavy one....more to follow with a proper post and vids coming....Thanks a lot for all the excellent support...Dawn is now my new favourite customer service lady......she laughs at my dumb jokes...
