Hey all great forum!!! I have gotten so much info here...Now I have a question, I have an 07 Deluxe with 800 miles on the odo i have a lot of decel pop and heavy fuel consumption. I have not done the exhaust mods yet but am planning to in the near future. Do I need to remap before i change out pipes, breather etc... or just do the mods and then remap the comp? Or, will changing my entire setup correct any problems i may have?
Again, great forum!!!!

Ultrapassenger is suckin up big time for something.... [sm=confused06.gif]
I'm getting ready to do some work on her 07 Deluxe. Got the pipes a couple of weeks ago... V&H staggered, had the SE A/C for a little while, now the SERT is in my hands.. time to do the work. We had the factory remap done at the 1,000 mile service about a month ago. I have noticed more popping on decel since then. I'm going to install the SERT program first (to make sure I don't have any communication problems), and then I'll instal the pipes and A/C. I won't start it until the whole job is complete.
The mechanical work is easy... I just don't trust anything electronic. (yeah.. I'm an old fart)

Is your 2007 Deluxe still completely stock? What kind of mileage are you getting? I know the 2007s run pretty lean to satisfy the EPA. This means they also run hot, but I haven't read where that causes bad mileage or popping on deceleration.
You should bring it back to the dealer, something is not normal. They may just do a re-flash, if nothing else is wrong.
Make sure to post, what it took to fix it.
Good luck,
Tom
You need to dicker with them on price, say wait till 1000 mile service buy all part's, while they have it have them install everything then tune and dyno bike, let us know your number's, there are a lot of people on this site that know there S... !!!!! So by them looking at your dyno they can tell you if rightous or if they need to fix, like I said just to many good people who will help you far better than most dealer's, me I'm dumb as rock especially on E.F.I, but if your bike is not close to 1000 mile service, take it in before you harm motor, if running lean could do hurt to motor, and you could pull plug and white bad!! running lean, if black running rich, need's to be tan color, so guy's if I'm wrong set him straight , do not want him to harm 07 or any year harley!!!! PURPLE
I'd have the dealer do all they can first. Then I'd call http://www.fuelmotousa.com/ and talk to them. They will sell you a Power Commander already mapped for your bike and at a good price. I have a SERT on one bike and a Power Commander they set up on another bike and if I had it to do over again I'd use them and Power Commanders on both bikes. A lot of dealers don't know how to properly tune a SERT, but there are many who can tune a PC.
I'd only go the SERT route if I knew for sure I had a good tuner.
