Well I am about ready to become a member of the Fat Boy club. Once I get the bike, pictures are coming. The stock seat looks good, but it is rock hard. Now I have read the thread on here that says this seat can mess up the paint. What is a good replacement? I am stictly interested in rider comfort, as my wife has never jumped on the back of any of my bikes. I do want a two up though due to my kids possibly riding on the back with me in the neighborhood (and maybe she will come along once in a while). My FXST had a Sundowner and I liked it. I like the looks of the Badlander. I do not want to pay for a Corbin (I do have a Corbin on my NT650 Hawk GT; the original covering wore out and I had it re-done by Seargent). Out of curiosity, any of you guys with the 07's stick with the stock seats? Thanks for any help here.
Brent.
I dont have a 07 , but on my 05 Fatboy I ended up buying a C & C Seat and like it better than the HD Badlander or the Corbin that I had. Check out their site for info, great prices and very good seats www.ccseats.com
I would ride the stock seat and see how it does for you. I am comming from a Mustang on my last bike and the stock does just as well. 4 to 5 hundred miles at a time and no problems. Spend the 400 bucks on chrome!!!
Yeah, I agree with Bubbale. You really should give it a chance for a quick thousand or two. You'll be surprised how quickly those kind of miles pile up. Then, If your butt is speaking to as mine did, well, I went with the Mustang Wide Vintage. It's not shown in this pic yet. I'll get to it.

I rode the stock seat a lot during Bike Week and have to say that I was OK with it, even made a 210 mile trip one day with only gas stops and my butt was fine. I also have a LePera BareBones w/ gel for scooting around town. Not bad either but probably wouldn't do a long haul on it. Before the LePera I had a Badlander, also not bad, but it sat me to far forward.
I have put 2K miles on a HD badlander on my fatty and my butt still hurts[:@]
So today I orderd a HD sundowner I hope it helps cause there aint nuthin like a sore butt to ruin your ride.
