first I would like to say the bars are on and they look nice. they are exactly what I asked for and more. unfortunately the company I went threw took forever to make them, way longer than they originally said it would take. I wont toss the company under the bus but some my recognize the style of bar and know. in the end having exactly what I want out weighs the forever it took to get them.
If it is who I think it is I have a set on order also. Just placed it last week. I am getting raw steel and having a guy in my area do the powder coating so that may help. There is no doubt the bars are sick!! Worth the wait IMO. I would be thankful the guy is still churning out bars affording us the opportunity to purchase.
He could just say f***'it, haul azz to the Florida Keys, leaving his website up and running with no intentions of doing business. I'm not pulling my bars off my bike till the new ones arrive so the wait don't bother me.
I get it that having something made to my exact specs and liking will take time and I am glad I waited. I don't like waiting for something that long especially since I paid up front. this year I have been without my bike a lot trying to finish it up. it is back in the shop now getting a rear fender made.
