We took delivery and brought it back for the pipes/air cleaner/tuner. While it was there, the weather went south so had them PC and I ordered a bunch of goodies for them to throw on. So this is how she sits for now.

Buying a Shotgun is clearly the only reasonable solution.

The Breakout was made to have a shotgun shock on it. Looks so much better and the ride, well...you know.
I know they are different, as the later bikes have an eye at one end and a straight thread at the other! I'm just wondering if I can change the adjustable eye end to a thread fitting?
If not.. how much are they worth on the second hand market?

Maybe you could make an adapter? I dunno. As for the value on the second hand market, I really have no idea?
So I have been out of town but took a few more pics. Once the weather gets better, I will be able to take some nicer ones.
