Wow, this is getting REALLY interesting for its weirdness. I can't explain why we are getting this symptoms. Maybe some knowledgeable HD technician might be able to?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this- and are you still using this horn?

I don't know about Jim, but I have the same horn and ended up installing the wiring harness/relay that comes with it, and it took care of the similar issue I was having. It's simple to install, only took 20 min. and you cant see the wires....

Does anyone have advice on how to get a night train dash on a breakout?
Saw one bike on the HD Breakout Friends with the Night Train dash installed, owner was named Canel if I remember correctly. You might try and contact him to have further details.

I just purchased 10 in LED strip from chrome Glo and removed stock reflector. The wiring was not hard and being that I'm a newly to this forum...figured I could use some feedback.

I have the older version of the Chrome Glow LED on my bike.
Your pics make yours look like the center section is lit up. Is that right? Is the center section the running & brake light while the outer sections are signal & brake? I'm asking because I heard CG revised the light recently.....
Yes its the running light and the brake light all in one. The sides are amber and only used for turn signals. The first pic is of the running light alone...its pretty bright.
