Black should be ground, blue running lights.

ruckus,
i found the same bike (97 heritage springer) for sale down the road from me owned by a women who seldom rode it not sure how long she has had it only problem we are miles apart on price she wants 15,000 i may be inclined to pay close to half of that. Without giving your price who is closer to reality, my opinion at that price it is going to sit a while

Front turns are also running lights. Dual filament bulbs for stock signals.

Blue is the run, purple is the turn, black is ground.

Can't go wrong on a Springer. Check out www.Heritagespringer.com

These after market turn signal lights are grounded through the frame. Also there is only a single wire coming from each front turn signal aswell. Do I hook up the running light wire and the turn signal wire together? The running lights must be at a lower voltage then the singals and thats what make it flash?

BTW I spent 8 thousand on this bike it has 44,000 miles and it sure isnt mint. My seller wouldn't budge on price That heritage looks like alot of money was out into it. Probably worth 10,000 or more.

Leave the running light wire (Blue) off.. Tape it up and leave it out. Be sure to check on Canada law. In Ma it's not required that they be running lights.

Is there a way I can hook it up? I would like them to be running lights.

I don't think you can without a dual filament bulb. The blue is sending constant power... I don't the turn will override that when you activate the directional. If you twist them together it will probably blow the fuse as soon as you flip the directional.

Might need to pick up fronts with dual filament and 3 wire configuration.

Here you go... Might need to hunt around to see who has it.... Easier than trying to jury rig the housing.

Ebay has them...
