Some people want a bike that will look pretty much like a zillion others out there. For others of us, that's exactly what we don't want.

I have no problem with people making their choices out of a desire to conform. It just doesn't happen to be for me.

Funny thing is that of all the bikes I've owned, the Rocker has gotten more positive attention and "thumbs up" than anything else. Except for one, which had a huge nitrous bottle hanging off the side.

Yup, that was my exact thought process when i bought mine in 2008..i wanted something you don't see EVERYWHERE you ride. I was definitely happy to find out that the rocker was discontinued after 2011. That means there is that many fewer out on the roads now.

I love how this thread is full of Rocker owners defending their decisions to another Rocker owner.

BTW, the Breakout and the Rocker are exactly alike. Except they share nearly nothing.

Basically he will never get his rotor/caliper to line up with a wheel setup for a wide glide front end. Hence the reason needing wide glide trees with a breakout wheel since its setup for a wide glide.
Just doing a search and put Rocker 21 x 3.5 wheel and you can pull up quite a bit on this subject. There are some that went with a WG front change, but a lot don't. They fit fine with a little work. Here are just a few of the threads. Im not going to argue with different ways of getting to the same point. Just seen this discussion before and plenty...plenty... that are running the 3.5 x 21 front wheel with the rocker set up. I didn't know this part but the 120 tire is the widest you can go with it. I can still be wrong as I have never done this install myself, but the guys posting in these threads are still on board and a quick PM to maybe Rockerz or Rocker Dan that have been down this road and back again a long time ago can chime in.

It's a moot point now since OP has the WG forks, but others researching should check all options imo. I see many things echoed on here as one way and others think that is the only way and it can be a really tough route. There are a lot of untrue myths echoed that prevent others from doing certain mods. It's best to ask a lot of different people on bikes. I have learned that through the years i've seen one expert swear up and down something won't work and another swear up and down they do it all the time no problem. So it is always best to check all angles. Here are just a few threads on this subject.

Thanks for this info! When I got the breakout wheel I mocked it up. I couldn't get the rotor and caliper to match up. I went to the dealership and measured the Breakout front end and sure enough.. its wider. So my answer to this problem was to get a wider set of triple trees... hopefully problem solved. Only time will tell. They're coming from NJ to MO so maybe this weekend I can try this solution out. I'm going to reuse my forks. After I get everything worked out I'm going to disassemble everything and send lots of parts to the powder coater!
