Does anybody know of a site on-line where I can get a service manual for my 2006 injected Nightrain?
I tried e-bay, but I can't find my specific model/year.
I'm trying to find it cheaper than the stealership.
I got mine from Surdyke.com , Service manual and parts manual. I forget what I paid but it was cheaper than the dealer. Zanotti had them but they're in Pa and I would have had to pay shipping and Tax.
You can't beat the manual from HD in terms of info, IMHO, and unless you find someone that just sold their '06 softail and want to unload their manual, $10 or $20 isn't worth not having the real thing.

MAN THAT AVIATOR IS SICK!!!!!! BUT IT"S F...ING!!!COOL!!!!!!!! sorry about manuel , you would think might be able to find P.C genius and have one down loaded on p.c, GOD THAT AVIATOR IS spellbinding to me but my wife think's it's nasty, but it's one of best I have ever seen so I must be SICK AND NASTY, but I would not know how to P.D.F to your p.c, you may go to the wrench forum and find some help there, or eat the cost and buy from dealer, by the way what does one cost ? I need one for 06 scremin eagle 103 FAT BOY, so know telling how much they will charge for one that I need. Boy they really know how to gouge you in many way's, I'm afraid to buy one and then not be able to understand it ,if it was real technical. GOOD LUCK PURPLE HAZE.
I think the list price for the manuals is around $58.00 regardless of model. Not cheap, but worth it if you're going to do any wrenching yourself. It's still less than one hour of labor at most any dealer service department so you'll get the return on your investment with the first fluid change you do yourself... Everything after that is a big savings.
Your local dealer should have it, if not they can order. When time is money $58 is cheap. After the second time I used my repair manual it paid for it's self.
If you aint in a big hurry, just keep an eye on Ebay, an HD service manual will show up. I've bought my last 2 HD manuals on Ebay, the latest is for my 07 FXSTC. Both manuals were from HD and still shrink wrapped. Both came from HD dealers that were selling stuff on Ebay at discounted prices. I gave about $45 to the door for my new one.
I haven't tried one yet, I plan on getting one as they aresupposed to be very good.
But Ialready have the HD book, so it's not real high on my priority list.
Yeah, looks like I might just bite the bullet and pick one up at the stealership. Thanx for the replies.
Oh yeah, I found my avatar a couple years ago surfing the net. I thought it was badazz so I've been using it ever since. I get alot of compliments on it.
