Your right it has to be for an EVO, they didn't make a TC engine before around 2000. Its probably for 87 up to 2000.
I still wonder how you can improve on the stock setup, unless its with steel plates that just reinforce the stock side caseings. They did a good job ofmatingthe engine crank case and tranny together, and used some really large bolts to do it with.
