cjgrog back rest
Thanks Scott!! You need to find two parts. THe first is a Springer Seat Rail which is part #152687-97. I found mine on eBay. Supposedly it's an out of production part, but several people on the forum have had luck finding at www.zanottimotor.com. Then you have your choice of a couple of different backrests from Harley. I have the high back rest - there is also a shorter one. THe part number for that is 52827-97. Easy installation. The springer seat rail swaps out for the stock Deluxe rail. Hope this helps.

That is nice indeed. And are those C&C bags? How do you like them? Mine have proven to be great. Same ones. I liked the braided trim. Never saw it elsewhere 'till your bike. I've now had 'em two yrs. and no trouble. I was concerned the braiding might detach when weathered. Well weathered, no problems.

Thanks for your comments about my bike! The saddlebags are from Custom Classic Saddlebags. Just put them on over the winter, so haven't got a chance to expose them to the rain yet!
