Default Does ST have a lower CoG?

My Dyna is pretty top heavy , are the STs less top heavy? Does the extra rake makes it more stable at slow speeds?

thanks

The softail may have a lower CoG based on the lower seat height and less rake but between driving my train and my buddies wide glide... I couldnt really notice a difference.

I've always found that Softails balance easier, and that I get the feeling of sitting "in" the bike as opposed to "on" the bike, like I do with the other models. To me it feels like it has a lower center of gravity.

Cheers!

You are talking about a Harley-Davidson dealership right?

I was just kidding.
This is my first Harley, so all I've ever done is buy one.
They are what they are.
It is the time of the season for the most trade in value.

I bought the Fat Boy for various reasons, but the black motor with the polished off fins, was the one thing I knew I wanted in a Harley.

Good Luck [sm=signs003.gif]

Keith,
Traded an '06 1200R w/ 500 miles and $8500 on a '07 red FXST w/ wheel upgrade and security (if you use the term "security" loosely) in January. I think it was fair or I'm just blinded because I love the softail. Of course you will do better, good luck.
