Traded an '06 1200R w/ 500 miles and $8500 on a '07 red FXST w/ wheel upgrade and security (if you use the term "security" loosely) in January. I think it was fair or I'm just blinded because I love the softail. Of course you will do better, good luck.

sounds decent for the 1200R. what did it cost new?

If I remember correctly, with the forward controls installed about $9500 or $9700.
